Active Biotech to Present at the UBS Global Life Sciences Conference

Lund, Sweden, September 16, 2010 - Active Biotech (NASDAQ OMX Nordic: ACTI) is
scheduled to present at the UBS Global Life Sciences Conference held September
20-22, 2010 at the Grand Hyatt New York, New York City, US. During the
presentation, an update regarding Active Biotech's development programs will be
provided.

The presentation will include projects in or entering Phase III; laquinimod, a
novel oral immunomodulatory drug for the treatment of multiple sclerosis,
licensed to Teva Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd, the prostate cancer project TASQ
and ANYARA, Active Biotech's novel concept for tumor therapy in a Phase III
study for renal cell cancer. Also, the project 57-57 and the pre-clinical ISI
project will be presented.
